A Log Sawhorse is a structure usually made from steel. General designs give the sawhorse four or more legs - these legs in turn will have a simple mechanismm to hold the log or logs in place and in turn giving a secure platform to use a standard saw or chainsaw for cutting them to size. Typically, most saw horses will fold for storage. The following components are important for a Log Sawhorse.

It should have a wide top, braced legs and ideally some form or method to keep the logs secure whilst sawing. Ideally, the sawhorse will be able to lock into place one or more logs in a variety of sizes - this is important to be able to maintain a safety whilsy sawing. General quality should be high and powder coated or galvanised steel should be looked for.
